Headlights look good!
Thanks, Chris! I'm loving the way they look now!

Thanks, James! Yes indeed, most definitely.

Now that I have more blacked out sections on my front end, I happened to discover two additional ideas of cosmetic changes to make the frontend flow better w/ my headlights. ← The ideas are subtle tho. (One is something you've seen it before, but the other one is prolly not.) So, plz look fwd to seeing that in the near future, James. ;))

Well, after my new headlights being installed, it was parked outside for a whole day under constantly heavy rain. Drove around afterwards for 30 min w/ the headlights on to see if there would be any condensations inside the housings. ..., Zero moisture in them!! Yay! :chewie: Might need to drive a little longer to be fully confirmed, but will see. :)

(Bought the car in '07, so I drove w/ the stock headlights for 7 years... This is my personal record, b/c removing amber color, the USDM representation, on a car has always been the first thing I do right away lol.)

Got the Christmas gift from Santa. (2G CL / TL Battery cover & box.)

Was hoping for them to be PNP, but I unfortunately had to trim off a few sections, since I have zero gage ground wires coming out from my battery terminals.

Your paint looks flawless, so jealous. Battery box looks really good and the blackhoused lights look great also.

Keep up the good work, Rich

^ Really? I stay away from door dents 'n all but, I haven't been able to clay 'n polish it for a long time tho. Maybe just b/c it's silver haha. I'm jelly of your MT swap work tho! Appreciate your kind words. The battery cover needs a little more work to make it sit flush, but it's getting there. Loving my headlights!

Thanks, Evan. ;)

Re: Sil2DrV6's 2002 Accord Coupe EX-L V6

Went to the shop to have my Powertrix rear LCAs installed and my front coilover kits lowered to the max, since the car needed the alignment service.

Well, the shop discovered 3 problems on my suspension:

1) The alignment on my right rear upper control arm (Wicked Tuning) is way off and the bushing is pooched out and damaged.

90f7dd2d9ea9f6d7d56f52ba2bec5d56.jpg

2) The right front upper ball joint (Ingalls) has a large amount of excessive freeplay.

3) The front strut (Tein SA) to be sticking quite high out of the knuckle. They called Tein and sent them photos. Tein said “It looks like the installation was not done correctly, the lower fork bracket would have to sit more up on the damper, it would have a second groove that the lower bracket bolt can be tighten to."

At this point, the shop could only install Powertrix rear lower control 'rear' arms, but the OEM piece was rusted pretty bad into the arms so much that they had to cut all of the bolts (additional work). They did lowered the height on my front suspension "properly" but it required some disassembly work (additional work).

Now, what I need to do is:

* Get a replacement of my right front upper ball joint. Screw Ingalls... I'm getting SPC, since their products are well trusted, which I later discovered after I got Ingalls.
* Get a replacement of my right rear upper control arm. I thought Wicked Tuning was good, but maybe I wasn't lucky... I'm getting SPC's for the same reason.

Finally had the Powertrix LCAs installed completely. (Black stein is the anti-seize.)
The piece in blue is the Wicked Tuning upper control arm, which seems to be holding strong, as opposed to the right side.

1) Right rear UCA replacement = Purchased & installed. (Replaced Ingalls w/ SPC.)

2) Right front UBJ replacement = Purchased & installed. (Replaced Ingalls w/ SPC.)

3) Improperly installed front coilover kits = Fixed.

I thought SPC BJ had a dome-shape bushing in red color but, as you can see, I guess they changed the way it is. It felt pretty solid, but I kept the Honda OEM bushing on it, since it has been renewed recently. Saving the SPC bushing as a spare for now.

Wanted to have the car aligned afterwards, but the alignment shop decided to send everybody home early b/c it's the New Year's Eve. :banghead:

Today was my 3rd trial for the alignment service.. So, my car is still driving weird on the road.:eh: Feels like being a yakuza, getting a pinky finger cut off, not being able to swim straight lol.

I can finally drive straight!

It was waaay off. (Of course, it was b/c six of the suspension components were replaced.) It's sooo much easier to drive now.

How she sits by lowering the ride height front by 1/4 an inch. Still can go 1/2 an inch lowered than this, but decided not to go any more, considering my driveway ground clearance & the garage entrance.

Driveway. (Going over w/o an angle.) 1/2 an inch clearance.

Garage entrance. It kissed a bit... I guess I need to back-in from now on...

So far, driving w/ Powertrix rear LCAs for about a week. Kevin (Sleeper Cell) said that the LCAs might make the ride feeling a bit stiffer, but it's not like I can't tolerate it, and it's hardly noticeable. More or less, I'm happy that I don't need to worry about my rear tires being toed-in anymore. :)

Drop looks really good, your coupe sits so nice. I forget, were you planning on doing foglights or no?

As for the bottom of the lip, I'd either spray rhino liner or put some sort of weatherstripping under it.

Thanks! Yep, fogs are on my to-do list. I used to want them badly, but not a huge priority atm. But, when I get them, hopefully they will be somehow unique-looking w/ my own taste.

Actually, I already have the protection. ;)
