well the cop that came to do the report insists that the insurance company won't total it.
The car still drives just fine.
The only problem is all the body work to fix it.
Anybody got a San Marino Red coupe door laying around?
I imagine that the rear panel will be somewhat of a pain...
I'm going to need to file the claim though due the property damage to the fence... and see how much they will pay...
Hmm, I probably would have braked too, I dunno about e-brake. But if you don't brake during a skid wouldn't you not slow down as fast as if you were holding the brake?
Cars can be fixed or replaced. Take this as a lesson learned....and thank the powers at be that you or those kids didnt get hurt! Good luck fixin her back up!
last time my rear lost traction on wet road, my car was literally side ways.....
i had to think fast, knew any braking would make things worse....so i downshifted taped the gas pedal few times, my car went straight after that....
