well the cop that came to do the report insists that the insurance company won't total it.
The car still drives just fine.
The only problem is all the body work to fix it.

Anybody got a San Marino Red coupe door laying around?
I imagine that the rear panel will be somewhat of a pain...

I'm going to need to file the claim though due the property damage to the fence... and see how much they will pay...

Thanks For the advice guys, Now i know :)

I hope your not thinking about paying out of pocket for the damages to the car. Trust me, you're going to want a shop to fix that if it's not totaled.

Hmm, I probably would have braked too, I dunno about e-brake. But if you don't brake during a skid wouldn't you not slow down as fast as if you were holding the brake?

i had same reaction about e-brake too......

last time my rear lost traction on wet road, my car was literally side ways.....
i had to think fast, knew any braking would make things worse....so i downshifted taped the gas pedal few times, my car went straight after that....

just wanted to share :D
