2) I said front sway bars help, although it creates more understeer, i should be more specific if we are just talking about our cars, on a fwd like you said it would stiffen up the front too much and the rear will loose stability

this makes absolutely no sense at all.

Be careful not to fall off from your high horse, wouldn't want to damage the ego.

its not a high horse when you have to correct someone who doesnt know what theyre talking about. why dont you go read up and how **** works before you go spewing nonsense next time

I have to agree.

Noobs come in here all the time trying to remember and recite what they think they saw once in a thread. As if they are the ones that should really be giving the technical advice to other members.

I'm all for contributing to the community, and being helpful, that's why 6GA is great in the first place. But a lot can be said for knowing where and when your contribution/advice is needed. Gotta make sure you have your facts together first.

I've seen too many times noobs taking advice from other noobs who didn't give them the best answer. And I don't like to see that happen.

Andy wants the best for people here. Trust me.

:jae: I woulda chimed in, but Andy said all I was going to, and more.

I have also seen a significant increase in this type of misleading information in the way you have described. I dislike this as well. People need to know what they are talking about, and knowledge comes from research, reading, connecting concepts of information, and mapping them out in your head. All of this can easily be facilitated by searching the past 5 years worth of threads that pertain to all various chassis braces, strut bars, and their product reviews. Outside sources should also be used to gain this knowledge.

***Not saying everyone needs to go and research these concepts thoroughly, but what I am saying is that everyone needs to have done that to credibly make statements of particular advice, with confidence.

This is a fact.

Nothing against you Mr. Hollow by any means, but I am just stating my opinions in general as they pertain to the forum. Again, my opinions are not directed at you personally or your comments.

I got one more question about sway bars... if I upgraded to the 04 tl progress bar.. should I try stiffening up the front a little more since it is a 24mm sway bar and the front is only like 26.XX? Would i have bad oversteer? I know a few ppl on here are rockin the progress sway bar, but is anyone having oversteer problems?? or does it feel pretty nice paired up with the stock front sway bar?
