And inside the center armrest console, there is what seems to be a place for a switch, but...what could that be? The flipping/moving piece, at the back of that piece.

In regards to the first thing.... I think I know what you are talking about. As for the second thats where the oil for the muffler bearings goes.

Oh...ok. I saw that and was like, "wtf could that possibly be?", lol.

As for the other thing in the center console, i get pics in a bit...

the thing in the armrest is a pass through for whatever youd want to pass from the bottom into the top part...like a hardwired cellphone charger or some ****. if you pop the cover off, its just a hole, thats all its meant to be...like an anus, just without the poop.

mine decides to fall aprt on its own and fall thru to tha bottom, then all the small things like pens and change fall thru and its ANNOYING lol but like all the other annoying things about my car ive learned to live with it...

its another honda cost-savings thing, too. on the TLs, theres a hidden cigarette-lighter-style outlet at the bottom of the console...so yeah...honda knows there no sense in building 2 separate armrest/console pieces to differentiate the accord from the TL.
