Looks cool!
But one question: Are the leds going to be able to handle the heat produced by the hid bulb?

That was my big concern but I checked with people from the HIDPlanet forum, which is basically the TRS forum and they said it should be fine. People have put CCFLs inside the shroud too. I'm a little nervous about it, but I'm not going to know if it works unless I try it.

Which switchback LEDs do you guys think I should use in place of my turn signal bulb? There are two types amber/off and amber/white. The types describe the behavior of the switchback when the turn signal is initiated. Both switchbacks will be white when no turn signal is present. But once on the amber/off type will switch from amber to off when the blinker is active; the amber/white type will switch from amber to white. I am leaning toward the amber/off style.

I would rather have amber/off instead of amber/white. since it looks more oem than amber/white plus other drivers will notice the amber more, instead of the amber/white that looks like you have a white blinker bulb instead of amber

I would try to match the temp of the HID lighting to the CCFL and switchback LED's. It won't look great to have all different temperatures of white going on in there.

What is the deal with the LED lighting for the projectors? Is it meant to shine through the rectangular holes around the shroud? If so, I think the projector lighting will drown that out.

I assumed this was for use when the projector was not on... as like you said I'm 99% sure you won't see shit past the beaming light of the hid bulb. :lawl:

Should look cool when the headlights are off...hopefully that is what OP is intending on doing. :ioof6:
