lowered with stock wheels looks like ****balls though

Not necessarily, especially since you're not on hubs like me hahahaa. I still get tons of compliments on my car while being lowered on hubs o_O It's definitely not what I want at all, but I'd rather wait and find the exact wheels that I want than buying wheels for "temporary" use while riding on my hubs than getting some random wheels. But yeah, lowering your car on those wheels you have would look sick.

It's not THAT bad if you ask me :ugh:

holy **** on my tits. I will drop the effing car I guess lol
thanks for pounding it into my head until every other word is drop :)

alright !
now whats the best way I should go.
I measured a bit, and I think 1.5" is a safe amount, but of course you guys are gonna correct me on that too lol.
I wanna go as low as I can probably without looking to latino, and without breaking ****.

oh and whoever asked how I did the pinstripe: made website for bodyshop, they did tails and side markers and pinstripe :)
and before I even get going on this drop thing, how much does it usually cost to get all of this done ?

oh and for the black housed headlights, I was thinking blackhoused Projector/LED instead, but not with an HID conversion kit because its ghey.

oh and maybe a lip kit ?

Uhm .. You can do the DIY Blackhousing yourself. IMO I don't like projectors because I think they look tacky, but that's just me, and I have different tastes than everyone else haha. And why not do an HID conversion ? It looks good ! Imma have to take pictures of that too for yah ;)

Also, you can get FF Type 1's for like 600, and do the install yourself. It's pretty straight forward and all you need is a floor jack, and some jack stands with a set of ratchets and you're good to go (possibly some wd40 too .. dang stuck bolts.)

I'm not 100% sure how much I dropped my car cuz I was just so eager to put my coils on, but I'm assuming that its 2+ inches because I can't get my finger in between my fender and tire .. I can squeeze it in there though. With my front lip on there, and my drop, I'll scrape my lip every once in a while, but I really don't think I'll break anything. My oil pan has yet to scrape once, so I'm sure you can go as low as me, if not lower, but if you only do 1.5" that's good too :D

I gotta drop the back about another inch tho. How fun >_> Ugh.

Do what I did, let some old asian lady hit your car. Problem solved :ownedrun: I guess you could always get shocks and springs O_O I believe that's a cheaper route ..

When you refer to projector/led's, do you mean TYC projector headlights? Or legit retrofitted projectors...? Don't do Option A plz.

Look for a used coilover setup in the FS section (here, V6P, and Acurazine)

For my taste, 1.5" really isn't enough to look good, it just looks okay. I'd target 2+.

like I said, I just did some quick measurements. 2" could very well be fine.
and yes I was referring to just buying projector/led headlights and not doing it myself.

Ouch. I, myself, would not do that. If you like them though, that's all that matters ! :) The mishishi .. something .. diy retrofit doesn't seem that hard tho. You could blackhouse your stock headlights and do the retrofit all in one shot :D Just my $0.02.

1. Glad to see another MO member. A buddy of mine, in STL, just recently acquired a 4cyl coupe.

2. I love that color and scheme. Is that a factory color? I dont think ive ever seen an 0102 v6 coupe in that color.

3. My centercaps were faded, too. I found a set from someone on here but i imagine they can be found anywhere for cheap.

3. Blackhoused headlights would suit your current scheme. Projector retrofitted lights look great. Gets the pieces from an Acura TSX.

4. I love those wheels and am finding that theyre not as common as I thought. Id say a drop but dont SLAM it. You dont need to be tucking 16s. I think a 2" drop is a good place to start. But get something with some adjustability so if it's too low, you can raise up and if it's too high, you can lower.

How about some interior pics or a Member's Ride Thread? Please tell me this thing has MINT black leather interior.
