my friend got pulled over for "illegal smog device" lol gave him hell of a hassle. if cops are dicks they will put check fixable and non fixable to f u over. ended up to be 400 dollars and he had to get it fixed. so hes waiting till august to fight it off. if you want ebay intake just take out your oem stock resonator. its pratically the same. just go aem sri or cai.

i gots egay intake at the moment. sounds nice. so CSL. you just cut a hole at the bottom of the air box? interesting.

Yeaa..the stock hole didnt cut it, so I cut it BIGGER.

I got an egay intake on my atm and it sounds pretty good, Ive had it for like 2 yrs and havent had any problems from cops, but then again its not loud unless you floor it, like when getting on the freeway, or going under a bridge. I love the way it sounds in the morning when I first start my engine and its idleing. And dont get rid of your OEM, you'll need it when you go get smogged.

i got pulled over once for speeding and he asked me to pop the hood when i had ebay chrome intake LOL

he just told me to take care of that asap because it is "illegal".

i mean, unless you are doing something stupid to get yourself pulled over, it is probably less likely for you to get pulled over just because your car sounds like you have an intake.

smog check is going to be tricky with ebay intake alone tho

Hmm.. I'm guessing if your car is stock-looking then the cops are not likely to pop the hood, unless they hear you revving high down the block or something then maybe lol. Other than that, I think you're gonna be okay with an Ebay intake.

It only sounds loud after like 2.5k rpm.

But yeah, Socal cops are dicks
