Yup, the Compaq came with Windows XP Home SP3 straight from the box. It's sure better than 7 Starter though haha.

So are you interested?

I just bought a new laptop that should be coming in about a week. Need to get rid of these!

Oh god Windows 7 starter is terrible.
My friend's mom bought him a Dell netbook with that on it, and he couldn't even change the desktop wallpaper. I managed to get into his system and find the file, and tried to replace it with another image, but with no avail. Now we can't get **** to show up, he just has a black desktop.

I'm kind of interested, but not now. I'm just browsing for something new sort of.

You actually got me curious as to if I would like a netbook or not, so I went to Best Buy after work last night, haha. I found one kinda like the Compaq here. For being so small, these things are still very cool. I just don't need a new laptop at the moment. Gotta get me a digital camera.

If I traveled a lot, or was always on the go, and I needed to work/study, I'd definitely buy it. Then put Vista or Xubuntu on it. tehehe
I'm saying this to persuade anyone considering this netbook. It would be perfect if you want portability. Glws.
