Just saw this. And all I can say is, wow. This is going to be one hell of a nice Accord.

Can't wait to see more progress :)

I am embarassed. I have been so lazy lately.

Yay for you! I am pumped man I can't wait until it all comes together.

You and me both. I am hoping it's done for August, but we'll see.

What are you going to do to the block, Derek? Just clean it up? Or paint it?

I wish I could have sprayed mine gunmetal or black, but my timeline and location just didn't make that possible.

I was thinking of painting it, since it will basically be torn right down, I think I may just end up cleaning it up, but I am looking at this as a possible colour for the engine parts.

Appreciate that, thank you. Unfortunately, some things are going to have to wait until next spring, but they aren't overly major, but they will definately finish off the look of the car.

It would be nicer if it were going to be a 6spd.

:coffee:

Oh yeah.. Derek, why no manual?

6spd ftw!

Yes, yes, 6spd, FTW, I know. Right now, it's not an option in case my wife needs to drive the car, which I am hoping is VERY rare. So, until I have another DD, this car has to stay auto. I am gathering 6spd parts though, next on that list would probably be some type of Stage 2 clutch, I suppose, or whatever the recommendation is for a J-swap.

This current setup MIGHT get a bit of a 'boost' though, but I haven't completely decided on that yet. Depends if I can work out a deal on a package that I know of that's for sale.

I feel ya! I know manuals are better. Better at getting power to the wheels, better driving experience, yadayadayada. But for some people a manual just isn't an option.

It will eventually get done, unfortunately, I won't be able to do it with this setup, so, I will have to look in to some other options, but I'm looking forward to that upgrade as well.

Well, Fairoze was kind enough to pick these up for me,

Guess I need to update my OP.

Next on the list is to pick up gaskets, spark plugs and the caliper rebuild kits for the RL calipers. Will probably be ordering the caliper in mid to late June.
