Tanabe NF210 springs...paint is chipping off

no one sees the springs lol and its normal when the paint starts to chip, what do u expect? lol

i know i wont die from it, but i would expect a little more from tanabe. even my 8 year old stock springs looks better.

yes i understand its normal but its only 15 months. :fail:

actually my springs are about two years old and they're in pretty good condition when it comes to the paint. Do you leave your car outside? Oh by the way i have the same springs on my car too. NF210s

im in RI...there are these things winter, snow, salt and sand :thinking: . its just the dead coils part of the spring thats chipping off.:tgf:

Well of course they're gonna rust then. Salt is corrosive to anything, mix it with water and its even more.

Thats why they recommend washing off the underbody of the car during the winter.

Wow .it chipped 4real ! My springs still look like new. Well its not chipped nor haave ugly stuff stuck on it. Been owning it since the time I join this forum and car been slam to the ground for last winter and still will be this winter also .I spray it down with the spray hose when I clean my car. -___+
