1. Nope wrong... You could have all the power and be light *** hell, with badass gearing, but with no traction your worthless, and being a crappy driver dosent help.

2.Wrong again, the 350z gearing ratios are just too long. But once it hits 5th gear, its a little shorter than previous gears. N/A wise the Z is at a disadvantage. Boost wise, long gears are good.
So to put in technichal terms with gearing ratio in advantages
Boost = Long Gears
N/A = Short Gears

haha, you've got your numbers backwards man. You're the one with the tall *** gears. Plus, at only 240hp, RWD, and starting at a 50mph roll, it's impossible that the Z had traction issues. He could have shifted as slow as xluben used to, and still should have left you. :p

The 350Z's weigh in between 3247, and 3188lbs. That's roughly 250lbs heavier than the accord, best case scenario. The passenger seat and rear seats come out to about 50lbs max. So it's possible to have a 300lb difference between cars, not counting drivers.

So, 350Z is at a 300lb disadvantage. But he's still got a 55hp advantage, and a much better gearing advantage. Math still works out against you. :shrugs:

Man, all this talk about who runs faster times at the track... I have beaten evo's, srt4s,350'z (on and off track), and many other cars on the highway, but they can run faster times at the track. just my 2 cents

thank you. I dont understand why everyone is making such a big deal about a run and dyno numbers. I mean there was like 10 ppl at dynolab, so I dont get how everyone thinks its bs. Its not imposible to stay next to the z for a while and then he pulls in 5th, but whatever I was there so I guess I'm seeing things as well

I have no contest with the dyno readings. I think we've all agreed the only issue is the jump at the end. My argument stands with a low 15 sec car 'hanging with' a high 13 sec car.

well they did all say the 350z driver sucked.

i have an automatic 4 banger, and used to run a NX 75 shot, and never managed to get much past 105 (in D3) before the rev limiter would kick in. so 120 in 3rd is BS from my experience but whatever lol

well I did know that there was some kind of issue with him changing his sn for personal reasons. I mean this is online forum and its not supposed to be all about calling bs on everyone, but I guess you guys have your own reasons which I'm sure are ligit, bc I have no idea what happened. All I'm trying to get across is that why would he and I try to badger something that is false, it wouldn't be worth it. He did keep up with the z but lost. Its not like were trying to say that he won, but everyone thinks it bs but I wouldn't waste my time to get this across
