im pretty sure the autos are almost the exact same. when me and the f23 run, were always at the same spot, and gear. but im telling you if you keep it in D3 and rev it, watch the rpms they will stop at 6k and stay there for a couple sec, and then keep going, and then you put it into d4, that is where my car will pull really hard, dont know why but it does.

Pretty stupid to be shifting your auto like that anyway. It won't last long, and nitrous on top of it doesn't help any. If you wanna do some nonsense "auto-shifting" like that then I would get a tranny cooler.

And for an admin, you talk a lot of crap for not actually "doing" anything. You bash on other people, but what experience do you have? Dont get me wrong... Im not trying to rebash you or whatever, but what gives you the right or what experience do you have, to telll other people that their techinque is stupid?

Although you maybe an admin, Im a small time guy who has the balls to try something new, and not stick to basic mods.

1. It's ALL about power to weight ratios. Along with gearing, that determines your track times.

2. You are at a disadvantage with gearing. Your 4 gears are not as efficient as any 5-gear setup.

3. An auto Accord with a 75 shot will not run a 13.9 1/4 mile.

4. Are you trying to say he might have missed a gear or two?



How 'hard' your nitrous kicks in is not a factor. It's not like it peaks at 150 shot then continues at a 75 shot.

And since you'll probably consider me part of the band-wagon now, I might as well indulge...

Your dyno chart seems a bit... inflated. 136whp, 127wtq. Those numbers are more than 15% higher than other automatic Accords with similar mods. Not to mention that nice little gear change that gave you a false peak reading at 6550rpm that looks to be an extra 10hp higher than the rest of the rpm band. Torque doesn't appear to have been affected. All that was beyond your control though. Not your fault. If that were the case though, your 183whp, 201wtq reading would be inflated as well.

The numbers just don't add up. Any plans to take her to the track? Maybe a video next time? I love seeing Accords whoopin up. :)

1. Nope wrong... You could have all the power and be light *** hell, with badass gearing, but with no traction your worthless, and being a crappy driver dosent help.

2.Wrong again, the 350z gearing ratios are just too long. But once it hits 5th gear, its a little shorter than previous gears. N/A wise the Z is at a disadvantage. Boost wise, long gears are good.
So to put in technichal terms with gearing ratio in advantages
Boost = Long Gears
N/A = Short Gears

3. Dont assume things, I never said that, But we will find out this upcoming Friday what it runs.

4. Nope, he hit every gear, just a terrible driver.

I dont consider anybody part of the band wagon, just people seem iffy on the subject at hand. If only I had use my camera too, I could prove it hands down.

On the nitrous kicking in, you gotta feel it to believe it, similar to boost, you want more....:ownedrun:

Yeah I agree on the N/A run that the dyno showed was definently off, everyone one at the dyno agreed that the gear jumping caused the spike and caused a false reading. But for the nitrous runs those numbers are consistent.

You're right I don't have the experience pretending that my automatic transmission is a manual. I however have one thing you seem to lack, common sense. Accord automatic transmissions are notorious slush boxes, especially the v6's. Then you go and throw nitrous on top of it and shift it like you're some boy racer out of Fast & The Furious. Yeah my mistake, there is nothing stupid about that technique.....

And I'm sure you are aware of this, since you seem to gracefully step over all the comments made towards you, except mine for some reason? I'm not sure if your barking up the wrong tree for fun or because you actually wanna go a few rounds? I mean as is you're on thin ice, you have multiple user accounts, you pretended to be someone else, you try and push some fake *** Bride seats as the real deal (pretty sure that was you, if not disregard that comment).. I think you should consider your *** lucky that you are even still on this board. Yet some reason you're feeling froggy and trying to leap, talking to me like I don't do anything or have experience, as if you know me? I mean come on... The best thing you could have done was walked away from this board when you said you were going too (remember one of them 3 or so threads you claimed was the "end" of 6thgen for you, because of a stalker or some bull****) and not come back. Instead of trying to make fools of us by pretending to be someone else (which you still haven't addressed)

Man, all this talk about who runs faster times at the track... I have beaten evo's, srt4s,350'z (on and off track), and many other cars on the highway, but they can run faster times at the track. just my 2 cents
