when i had my first car stolen it was found in a pond a little deeper than your car was. the insurance told me to take the car to a shop and when i did, the shop didn't want a touch it. In fl once a car has been hydro planed is automatically a total loss. I would make the management pay for everything. Do what you can, good luck.
