Brand & model: 4-2-1 headers, aftermarket cat, stock resonator, Cherry Bomb muffler.

Price paid and from where: Headers: $20 ebay, cat: $80 Partsource, Muffler: free from the side of the road (no lie).

Pros: Better clearance than stock system. Sounds like a small truck. Looks mean with dual 3" pointed tips.

Cons: Loud, but I like it loud. Took months to finally weld it together with no leaks.

Final verdict: I should just buy a truck, but it's sweet and a good story.

Pros: Deep Tone but not annoyingly loud, friends said it sounded pretty good. There bolt on

Brand and model: Megan Racing 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Header
Price paid and from where: $160 from local shop
Pros: Love the sound, noticeable "powerband" shift, smoother throttle response
Cons: Had to muscle it to get a proper fit and the 1st one I got had a high spot on the intake manifold flange that meets with the engine block. Returned it through Megan and they gave me a full replacement (hardware included)
Final verdict: For the price it was worth it, but would save up and buy DC sports header if I had to do it again

Brand and model: Megan Racing Test Pipe
Price paid and from where: $60 from local shop
Pros: Louder and slightly deeper tone, sounds great at mid-upper RPM
Cons: Raspy/drone-y at very low RPM
Final verdict: Great buy and a great way to avoid temporarily avoiding buying a new california cat...

Brand & model: Skunk2 Mega Power 3" Universal Muffler w/ straight 3 inch custom cat back.
Price paid and from where: $155 From Amazon
Pros: Gorgeous sound, nice and throaty at idle and low rpms, and nice high frequency at WOT.
Cons: Quite a bit of low end drone, but it is to be expected with 1) Automatic 2) V6 3) No resonator.
Final verdict: I love it! I am getting a side branch resonator made for it soon, which should get rid of the drone completely.

Brand & model: srs (ebay) 4-2-1 headers

Price paid and from where:$60 ebay

Pros: easy to install sounded nice at first

Cons: bolts just fell off of it from the headers and down pipe, also the down pipe sits wayy to low, like lower then then sub frame which if your lowered is very very bad, gaskets were terrible

Final verdict: will not do it again

Brand & model: Custom exhaust on a EX-V6.

2.25 inch, mandrel bent piping from the cat-back, both resonator & mid-muffler removed. No mufflers, AP2 S2000 tips welded onto ends of pipes.

Price paid and from where: $130, local muffler shop. Plus $40 for the tips.

Pros: Sounds incredible. I get compliments everywhere I go. AP2 tips look badass with the OEM rear lip.

Cons: Loud, REALLY loud. Driving 45-50mph in 4th gear is annoying as hell sometimes because of drone so I remedy it by just driving in D3. 6-speed should fix that :).

Final verdict: I love it, so do other people. It gets compliments all the time. I get the "sounds like a 350z/G35" comments all the time. Love it :)

EDIT: Here is a video of the exhaust before I went back to weld on the tips.

Brand - Magnaflow
Model - High-flow catalytic converter
Price and from where - $166 from Summit Racing
Pros - Gives deeper tone
Cons - Isn't quite as "direct fit" as it says, longer than stock
Final verdict - A nice little extra for your exhaust

Brand - Megan Racing cat-back
Price and from where - $418 from MR.com
Pros - Has nice deep tone (hits a sweet spot around 4k RPM), resonated, easy install and isn't too loud
Cons - Big tip that aims downwards (can scrape easy), bad hanger placements, tip stuck out way too far when cat. converter was added and had to cut the cat
Final verdict - A nice name-brand exhaust, but kinda wishing I had shopped around more
