so basically everyone is saying bolt ons are pointless hmm? I wonder y these aftermarket companies are designing these parts for us and they dont do jack. Of course they want money, but i guess we would all like to believe that our cars are going faster after we spend a pretty penny on them... Hell i kno i've been through several setups of intakes, and i wanted to think that the different setups made a difference when they didn't.
So i guess the I/h/e setup is just meant to look good? Oh well. :coffee:
I guess it actually is better to leave the car stock, because I know if my car sounds aggressive im going to want to floor it lol :afro:

the bolt ons do add more power but you gotta choose the right parts.. a good headers means nothing without a good exhaust and intake..also manual and auto tranny are a big difference..you just gotta look around and pick a good setup

dc sports are getting really crappy these days
My suggestion.go on craigslist and get used parts to compensate the little hp gains..from my experience the best mod would be suspension:gride:

As far as suspension goes i have tokico hp blue struts which i love and megan racing lowering springs which drop it 2 inches and looks great without scraping everywhere. i also have a megan racing strut bar which i highly recommend. Soon to come is eibach front and rear struts ( 23mm rear and 27mm front) and a c and d pillar bar from the autobox in LA i also found a rear strut no name but seems cool to make it like over board suspension (more than i need) but hey i love canyons gotta be stiff! oh and moss ppl here like the progress rsb if you wanna fit in ahaha also get some fatty tires (recommended 225s) fat for our car at least. and matt or juicebox00 would recommend the Ground Controls by eibach with koni yellow struts. Better canyon set up but im not that intense yet! good luck with your suspension choice!
