I believe that i read tire stretching started out in the drift scene. by stretching tires and having rediculous camber it allowed drifters to have wide crazy offset wheels and still slide as there was little tread that actually mad contact with the road.

the most dangerous part is mounting stretched tires....but not the mild stretches...for crazy stretches you have to use alot of pressure to get the bead to set....sometimes using explosions :naughty:

Okay good cause i was thinking about doing a mild stretch like a 205/40 on my 18's
