so i got my car about 2 yrs ago. first thing i did was get new tires as they were the original tires yes i said original tires. i got my car with 36k . its a 98. anyways i got my hands on TL rims from my uncle. so i obv had to go up a size in tires so i got 215/45/17 tires to go on my rims. now about 18k later my tires are shouldering like crazy so bad that the nylon is showing. the first thing i do when i noticed the nylon was go get an alignment check it was perfect since i get my alignments regularly so i go to costco and they tell me the tires weren't wide enough for the rims which is causing my shoulder problem. they said also a camber kit could help but regardless i need new tires so now im getting 225/50/17. (i wanted a taller tire to eat the gap between the tire and the fender) so now with these tires they say a camber kit is not a necessity. but i do want to lower the car in the near future with f&f type 1 but since im out $600 from the new tires. ill prob have the money in about a month. so my question is finally with the new coils would i need a camber kit so my tires can actually last what they are supposed to?
