I've been STi/Mustang shopping for a few months, but today I just noticed that our cars are pretty sexy, and with a man tran would be fun to drive as well. I know there is already a parts list on here for the DIY swap, but I'm wondering:

Is there anybody in the Pittsburgh area with experience doing this and could hook me up?

and/or:

Whats the name of a trustworthy garage in Western PA or Eastern Ohio that I could trust with this procedure?

I've already put a bit of money into my car and want to keep it, but the auto tranny is so damn boring. Thanks for the info

It's hard to find shops that will do these swaps, or know how. They're out there, you just have to look. Check the mechanic network thread, ask service advisors at your Honda dealer if they know an individual/shop, usually they know people in the business, etc.

With luck you could DIY the swap for around a G....for a 4 banger. A v6 would be a different story.
