Trunklid holds water?

Did a search and closest thing I saw was a taillight holding water... but IDK what this is. Whenever it rains or I wash my car, no matter how long I wait, days at a time, when I open my trunk water pours out of one of those holes in the trunklid. I assume the water is hanging out near the taillight, but its a LOT of water... driver's side if that matters.

What are my options? I'm tired of getting water on my stereo / whatever is in my trunk.

Did this solve the problem? No more water in your trunk when you open the lid?

Anybody else? Please help, it rains alot down here in Winter :(

So what is the solution? New weatherstripping? Drill holes in the taillights? Help :(

Outlaw I'd Pull the carpet out of your trunk and spray it with some rustoleum primer asap..
