I'm planing on getting another head and having work done to it. not just replacing the ulev to gain 2 HP.

What he's saying is that it's the same head.
You should just to the work to your current head instead of replacing it with a regular Vtec

F23A1 and F23A4 heads are identical - only difference is ECU & wide band O2 sensor.

^^^^^ Exactly, the heads are the same just different tuning.

do work on the head you have. 2hp is so small, some of us Vtec higher mileage cars probably have less than 148 stock just because our compression level drops as the rings get old.

Like everyone said, its kinda pointless because the electrical work will be not worth it, just use the one you have.

Well what kind of head work are you planning on doing anyways?

I'm thinking of getting another head because My car is my DD and I can't have it down for long amounts of time. I was wondering if it mattered which head I get. I know now it doesn't (yeah). The work I was thinking of getting would just be a cam and port & polish. I still have alot of research to do befor I commit to any type of build. Depending on what I find out I might judt decide to go with an H22 swap. Who knows, I'm still in the research stage of working on my performance and I don't plan on making a move on performance for a few years (well other then I/E).

Ok so I searched and found my answer, now does the ULEV ECU inhibit the tuning capabilities if I were to go turbo? I know it has the wideband o2 already so normally that would be a bonus, just wondering about the ECU itself.
