That will work as we talked earlier, also you don't need to have a turbo intake.. Most people just put the filter on the end of the turbo inlet - it makes almost no difference.

I'd get the Braille if you don't mind spending a few bucks more.. as due to the spec comparison with the Odyssey PC680, it appears to be better. Also, research what DOD means in relation to the batteries, and find out which has the longer lifespan.

Downfall of the Braille like you said is a higher price, and it's a little larger thus a bit heavier.

Weigh your options and settle on what you think is best!

As you know, I like the PC680 as it is what I have, and I've never had any issues with it. Even in the harshest Maine winter, it works well to start the car, though sometimes takes a few more cranks.

Either of these is going to be way better than any walmart or autozone battery which are already made to handle all standard loads well.

I think I'm gonna go with the braile. I wanna run time attacks with my car so I want something that will put up with the abuse of racing along with being able to drive around daily with my sub running and all my other I.C.E. and not have to worry about killing the battery.

I looked up the DOD thing and it stands for depth of discharge, basically from what I understand from it is that 3100 cycles at 10% DOD translates to the battery being able to be recharged 3100 times from being 10% dead (90% charged)

according to this "one cycle of 100% DOD is roughly equivalent to 2 cycles at 50% DOD and 10 cycles at 10% DOD and 100 cycles at 1% DOD." therefor if I understand it correctly the the braile battery can be recharged from 100% dead 310 times.

Anyone know if this is accurate or am I totally misinterpreting it.

well I'm back up in pa =]

we set up lights in the storage unit and I got a little baby generator for christmas to run them off of. I'll post some pictures up tonight of the set up its pretty legit haha.

Since we only have a half day of class today we'll be out around 8:30ish tonight so my buddy and I will hopefully have enough time tonight to drop the short block and tranny in and at least get it bolted into the side mounts if not get all four bolted in.

I'll take a few pics tonight if we make some decent progress.

Oh damn good call on the Braille then, I had no idea you had ICE to run, thus didn't even take it into consideration of your decision. If that's the case then definitely!

In for pics ;)

yeah not alot just a 12" sub and then my gps, wideband, oil psi gauge, boost gauge and turbo timer all have power running to them too. I just don't want that to ever even be a thought so I don't have to worry about making sure I park a certain way so I can push start the car if I get back and the battery's dead.

forgot my memory card so no pics of last nights progress. Got the short black and tranny on the two sidemounts just gotta do a little bit of wiggleing to get the rear mount to line up.

I also found out that the ground that attaches to the driver's side mount will hold the engine from coming up when you jack it up with a cherry picker for a good six minutes before it breaks and the driver's side of the engine lunges up and makes you think its come to life and attacking you. :lawl:
