My headunit ran $999, with no tax. Probably the SINGLE most expensive modification. More so than the new motor, cam, new tranny, wheels, tires, etc... Paid $950 for my turbo, but it hasn't seen this car, so that doesn't count.

My last CG3 had around $12,000 total into it, with nothing being more than $500 individually.

nothing crazy expensive on my car yet...unless you count my seat/harness as one mod...then it's like $1000 per seat/harness/brackets....retro also cost me about $1000...as did my wheels/tires....and my suspension setup costs about $1000 too if you count the camber kits...

I almost did my doorhandles too, my guy was going to do it for $500 extra which was a deal but I opted not to do it since it would of taken another 2 weeks probaly to get my car back. I was more concerned with the body work and paint.

Anyways, my paint came out to over $1,500 thus far but I think my engine work was about the same or more.

Extra F23A Motor: $450 :omgbd:
WebCams Regrind: $300
Head Work (incl. parts): $700 :naughty:
Honda Gasket Set: $150 :D
Misc. parts: $250

Does not including all of my engine performance bolt ons! (UR Pulley, AEM Fueling parts, I4 TB, etc.) That's about another $1,000 easy.

I had my guy at our shop help me do most of the R&R and saved a lot of labor $$$ too... the additional shop discounts are also a bonus! :driving:

Now that I think about it, I have way too much money invested on my ride! :bash:

800.00 for my doubled din
500.00 total for compustar alarm system with remote start and add ons
500.00 carbon fiber hood
1200.00 for tires and wheels 2 different sets sold only 1 and am on my third set of wheels which will cost more.

about how much?

I'll count it as a "project"

I got a used fmax kit for $1500
Sold the BTM (timing) and MF2 (fuel) that came with it for 400 which i used to rebuild the turbo.

Purchased various fuel items as well as a SAFC, Boost controller, gauges for about $1000.

Sold SAFC and purchased AEM EMS with Wideband O2 sensor/gauge for $1200
