^Yeah it was time to take the plunge. My apartment rent was in mortgage territory already and it was going up another $100 next year. Not to mention interest rates are stupid low and it’s a buyers market. So it made sense. I’m just glad I will FINALLY have a garage!
Okay, is that thread old or is the guy still in business? Was their communication with you good and all that? How much did he charge you for em? You can PM me if you want. Thanks for mentioning that, and everything else you mentioned about the GC’s, you really helped clear them up for me.
Installed my JTC short shifter today and swapped the old sedan center beam/bumper support for the coupe to go along w/my 01-02 coupe bumper.

Nice Elio. How does that work with slack and what not if the shifter cable is being pushed back toward where it's mounted? Or does it only move an inch or something and it's not a big deal?
Yup, the driver side cable stays on the same place, The other one is positioned differently. It also attaches with a bolt and nut compared to the pin that the OEM shifter uses.Usually short shifters are only "short" on the top side. The bottom end that connects to the linkage past the pivot point is still the same length.![]()
