Also another word of advice for those who haven't done this yet, I found it a lot easier to tape off wherever you want to cut so you can at least follow a line and guide through your cutting.

And after cutting the plastic, I sprayed some clear coat for some added protection against chipping or what not.

Relatively easy task. You'll need obviously a jackstand, a Dremel or any decent power corded rotary tool with a diamond cut-off wheel (should be around $40 for a decent one), self-tapping screws, painter's tape, and some protective glasses. It shouldn't take longer than 2 hours to do it.

Oh and for those who want a good guide to follow, look up Chris' DIY write-up (ogliquidmetal).

He helped me do it the first time cause I didn't have a Dremel at the time but I've since gone slightly lower and added spacers so I had to go buy a rotary tool and mod it some more.

It's ugly but it got the job done. I cut off everything possible with a dremel then beat the sh out of everything else with a hammer. :henry:

and he used a zip tie.. i was gonna do that but i had problems with those things and cant stand them.. they help up my body kit to my last accord lmfaooo
