Too many "square pegs in to round holes".

Not every fitment setup should be attempted with our cars.

Hankook Ventus V12s are an awesome tire and they have a really nice looking stretch (IMO best looking stretch of all the brands and models I've seen). V12s have very soft sidewalls though, and my front pair basically got destroyed in six months. I bad bubbles all over the inner sidewall and the tread got worn down super fast. I still have the same rears though, and I put them on January 1st, 2011. So just to put that into perspective, the rears lasted me a while for having a 280 treadwear. They're on their last leg though. I've flipped them twice now and the tread on the outside now is completely worn down lol.

I love the V12 other than the soft sidewalls. If you hit your control arms a lot they WILL get destroyed. Otherwise they are a great tire. Very quiet, affordable, and they stretch very nicely.

i just picked up some v12. i hit my uca. when you say destroyed do you mean because of them rubbing the wheel well?

No, they get bubbles all over the inside sidewall. And not just one bubble, when I mean all over, literally the entire way around.

You can see how deformed the sidewall got along the rim of the wheel. Had I kept driving on these tires the sidewall would have ripped.

Are you getting authentic ones or replicas?

That tire is only good as a swing for a child now.

I wouldn't even give it to a kid to swing on. The sidewall was like cheese.

Honestly. Those wouldn't look bad. I've seen them on an RSX and they actually look good. Id look into getting a set but I'm 4luggin it right now. Not trying to do a 5lug swap for a good while.
