If everyone's car was setup identically it would be easier to say what fits and what doesn't but even then, slight differences in alignment could affect the fitment.

Basically there's no way of knowing 100% whether something more aggressive than stock will fit or not because there are infinite factors that decide that.

im def a car noob haha, im just trying to find a good offset that i can build on or get as close as possible to where i want to be like if i bought wheels that just totaly didnt fit right it would suck. i understand i might have to do some things to make them fit properly. camber and rolls are no problem i just dont want to mess up and buy rims with to much poke and be like... well dang there goes my cash

Honestly, you can't compare someone else's setup to yours unless you have the same ride height, camber specs, and body work done (not rolled or pulled, just rolled, rolled & pulled, etc.). Two different cars can have a particular wheel setup, and one will be flush and the other might not be because of the other variables involved.

The moral of the story is that people saying such & such size/width/offset will be "perfectly flush" (which has been said numerous times just in the last week) is complete bull****. Wheel setups are made flush through the car owner's efforts...as long as the setup falls within a given range that allows for a certain amount of adjustment through those previously listed variables.

If you really want to know what setup works for your liking, do the measurements yourself on your own car instead of relying on others that may not apply to you. All it takes is a ruler & an offset calculator, it's not rocket science. Besides, one person's opinion of a flush setup can be totally different than another's.

lol I just look at this thread sometimes & shake my head. Usually I let them all give each other "advice" without intervening, but maybe this time some innocent noob will take what I say to heart & learn from it.

Worrrd.

My advice to you would be to set up your car suspension-wise to exactly (or very close to) how you want the car to sit with the new wheels/tires. Once you do that, all you need to do is measure & compare the inner and outer clearances - at the correct wheel diameter of the next set of wheels you plan on getting - to determine what widths/offsets work for you using an offset calculator. You can also research tires online to compare and determine the exact tire heights for particular makes/models/sizes (for instance, one brand's 235/35/19 might be a lot taller than another's 235/35/19) that suit your needs. Some of that may sound confusing, but once you understand you'll be on your way to having your desired fitment for your particular car.

Ok thanks man I think I'm kinda picking it up so say I'm gettin a rim set up with 18x8 and the offset is +40 so say I want them to sit flush with the fender I would take around a 15mm spacer and that would in theory make my setup look like a +25 setup? And make my rims sit about flush to the fender?

Just get the wheels first and then test fit them on your car and go from there... make sure your fenders are ateast rolled tho

Yes, you are correct. Fit the wheels on first then decide what size spacer you require to make it sit flush. Gotta also consider what tyre size you want to use..

Gotcha thanks! As far as tire size go I can probably get some one at tire kingdom to help me out. Theyre going to be summer performance tires I know that much probably with a higher speed rating. I want something low profile and handles well however I don't want thin thin rubber band like tires not to mention it would look redic. What is yall's recommendations? I'm probably going with falken or dunlops. What size would be a good performance tire? Keep in mind I'm going to be lowered about 1 finger gap all around.

Wondering if this combo will work without a camber kit. 16x7 wheels with +38 offset and 225/50/16 tires. On a sedan with tein s techs and stock struts. Thanks!
