Based on the picture I provided do you think I will need coils for this low of a stance or will springs and struts suffice? If I can attain this height on either set-up what would be the pros and cons of both? I really don't think I would do much adjusting (if any) so the ride quality is probably the most important thing to me.

There are spring/strut combos that will get you close to that (you’d need a strut with adjustable perches), but if I were you I’d go between those setups and pick a strut/coilover sleeve combination. You think you won’t care about adjusting your ride height, but in time you probably will, especially if you ever plan on changing up wheels. And it's nice to have a little flexibility when it comes to changing setups.

Strut/coilover sleeve combo (like Koni Yellows and Ground Control sleeves) gives the adjustability of full coilovers, but still achieves ride comfort that is a little closer to the spring/strut side of things. Of course spring/strut combo is best for ride comfort, but this setup has certain limitations.

should i keep my 225/40/18 on a 18x9 and slightly raise my car so it dosnt rub, or get 215/35/18 for $77 each and put her back down? I looked it up on tyrestretch dot com and it looks like it would fit better then what i have now. I really want 205/40 but cant find a set for a good price(im very cheap)
