hell, id even be down for the remote/key combo honda has now, doesnt even need to be a switchblade.

ummm...mmmmkay...where does our trunk button go? 7th gens/newer hondas need the doors to be unlocked, then theres a handle under the lip of the lid cause theres no keyhole or remote button.

edit: the 7th gen might have a trunk button, ill have to check tomorrow.

GAWD DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's telling me he needs to be able to sell at least 750 of these things to break even on production costs..... his exact emails to me:

To justify tooling and production of a new case I need @ 750 sales that would just cover the initial cost no profit at all.
After discussion with some of my remote seller contacts in usa its debatable if this older case can generate enough sales.

As I stated before tooling is @ 6000 usd.That cost must be fully covered before manufacturing the injection tooling.That does not cover the cost of the first production quantity.No factory will produce less than 1000 pieces they just wont do it.So you can see my investment would be @ 12000usd at a conservative estimate.Any production person will know these figures are correct.
One of the reasons maybe nobody makes it currently is that its not commercially viable.
I am awaiting info from my usa contacts who sell and deal in remotes.
I have currently sold @ 3000 Honda cases - main sales Europe, Spain being a huge market.

I'm so sorry i got everybody's hopes up but i honestly thought he would be able and willing to produce these for us, i just dont understand why he didnt tell me the costs up front. Instead i got all of you guys excited over nothing. again my deepest apologies. I tried. Im pretty upset that this thing wont be made now i guess we have to keep dreaming
