So I have been thinking about buying some wheels off a friend of mine and i was wondering if they would fit... they are Rota P45r's F: 17x9 +12 R: 17x9.5 +12. My car is pretty much stock except for H&R lowering springs. I was just wondering if i would need to get a camber kit or anything to make them not rub. thank you

Honestly you need to be a lot lower to pull that look off. Your car will look ridiculous if you put those wide wheels on with just a 2" or so drop on springs. I suppose that you won't need anything actually to run those because your car is so high.

IMO, save the money for wheels that aren't knockoffs and get coilovers so you can pull the look off

I see no harm in knock off wheels, if they look good on the car then fk what anyone else says. P45R's look well for Rotas. But will look ugly as hell with just springs.

With these wheels, you're going to have to pull atleast a 4" drop and have a camber kit for it to sit flushed with the fender.

Take this picture for an example.

He was sitting on coilovers, had fender work done, and stretched tires. IMO it's too much work and here in Cali, cops just love to see people with stretched tires.

IMO, get some wheels that fit correctly. Leave those P45R's for cars that can handle those offsets.

SleeperCell and Johnson run/ran x9.5 +12 and honestly, you'd have to do quite a bit of work to make them fit. You'd have to be SLAMMED, meaning 4"+ drop. And not only do you have to roll your fenders (obvious), you'd have to pull as well.

You should ask them for some advice first.

But 17x9 all around with a +25 or +20 offset would be nice. Mild slammage and a fender roll would be enough.

Sorry everyone cant afford your $2000 BBS oem rims lol

haters gonna hate man
OP, its do-able, but you gon need to go ALOT lower then what your springs can go. plus some roll and pull is needed.
