it's pretty fast here... but have u been to germany? :skurred:
people in germany know how to drive. going 160kph+ is easy when you know no one is going to pass you on the right and no one is going to pull into the fast lane going slower than you. soooooo much better.

we (the US) should go to licenses at 18 years old, have the long education period of germany, and make it cost as much (~$1500). that would prevent 90% of the douche nozzles out there from getting a license...
Most of the US: People respect other motorists if you follow the rules. You don't drive in the left lane unless your passing and once you've passed you move over. They aren't afraid of running red lights or taking the wrong turn to let emergency vehicles pass though.

Also in Canada, people don't repsect the Left Lane... EVER. People drive in it casually when there are 2 other lanes that they can use!!

I don't tailgate, but I do like to "Flash To Pass" people sitting in the left lane when I want to get by them.
i dont know where you've driven in the US but people dont respect the left lane. whats worse is the **** knobs who wont let someone "stuck" in the fast lane move over and pass em on the right instead :madrun:

ill hang behind someone for 30 seconds to a minute...if they dont move over, i'll pass em on the right. if they hadnt moved over in that much time, they probably wont ever.

a flash to pass here will mostly likely get a finger or brake check in response :lawl: people dont respond to that well :lawl:

we (the US) need to teach people to pass on the left, then go back to the middle or right lane right away. then again...with 55/65/70 speed limits the people who want to go 90 can go **** themselves :lawl:

Best post ever. If someone is riding the hammer lane, like you said, i'll stay behind them for about 20 seconds, but they will KNOW i'm wanting to pass and that they need to move over (ie ride their butt/shift to the left of the lane) and if they aren't going to move, i'll pass on the right and do it pretty swiftly. Nothing screws up the flow of the highway (especially when there is only two lanes) than some disrespectful/oblivious idiot riding the left lane at 65 in a 65.

I use to flash my highs but since I installed my HID's I don't anymore to keep the ballasts from igniting when the low will only be on for a second. I will always give the person the chance to act and get out of the fast lane since I do not know their circumstance. But if more than a couple minutes pass I start looking for openings. I don't need to honk, the downshift and roar of the V2 sends the message.

I hate (on long trips) when I get over to the right for someone to pass me, but they take their time passing and I end up having to break cruise because I caught up to the the car in front of me while in the right lane. :madrun:

I always crusie on the left lane whenever I'm on the parkway, expressway etc. the type of driver I hate are the type that are going slow on the "fast lane" doing the speed limit or 5 under :eh:and when you decide not to tailgate or flash your high beams but only merge to the middle lane or right lane to pass them all of a sudden they pick up the pace of their car and wont let you pass them :wtf1:what was the whole point of driving slow in the "fast lane" and why are you taking the time to even block me from passing you. Smh...durlicks...:furious:

all this talk but honestly... toronto, ontario has to be the worst. we have far more immigrants in the greater toronto area than any other state, capital, city or anywhere else in the world. people drive wherever they want, however they want. doesnt matter if they're in the fast lane, middle lane, ever the carpool... everything is ridiculous here.

ill be passing by PA and DC. i have no worries.

Dre, little late for you to be on here, no?

I'm heading down to VA at some point next month, so it will be interesting to see how they drive outside of NY state. It will be the furthest 'South' I have driven in the States as well.

ah nice. your next road trip should be florida, it's a sweet drive.

states have nothing on us in terms of inconsiderate drivers. we're canada! we don't watch nascar! :canada:
