Try drivin on Long island, you think its bad? once you get out to the hamptons its nothing but speed, speed, speed. 90+ mph on the L.I.E. bc there is nothing around and the sherrifs dont care that much, the state troopers are on the parkways so nobody speeds there

3. If you don't want to drive fast, use the right lane. If you don't want to get tailgated, follow the traffic speed.

I have to agree that drivers in Quebec are not as courteous as in other provinces but in general, they are not ''idiots'', they just drive faster. 120KM/H is nowhere near dangerous on the highway and it is tolerated...

HID are not illegal. At lease not in my province. Had my car MVI'ed twice with them in. Just sucks for oncoming drivers if you don't got projectors. I had mine adjusted as low as I could with a good cut off, Assume the **** I get?? Yeah I really like having my life put on the line when I had to pull my car on the gravel side lane at 80 kph with low pros tires and lowered because some asshole was driving flicking his highbeams at me and in my lane. He was just being a dick.

Yes I was doing 110-120 ( Speed Limit was 100 KPH ) trying to keep up with drivers so I was not a danger well I guess not and mini vans doing 140-160 coming up on my *** in the right lane so yeah speed limit WTF.

i ride on the I87 all the time going from brooklyn to new paltz. all the time and the cops care less on this road than local areas... i am always doin 90 coming back and i still have people passing me. and what i learned is that troopers often are positioned near towns/cities/ exits. There are some exits that is still a couple miles away from the town so they those areas are easy to speed in. and the 87 runs through an area exactly like that from suffren NY all the way up to albany which is a good 300 miles

Saying that all Quebec drivers are idiots is generalizing. Just like saying every black man is a theft or all ontarian drivers are slow as hell. By insulting Quebec drivers you are insulting me. There are idiot drivers everywhere and from everywhere. But if you are so thickheaded that you can't admit not all drivers from quebec are idiots, than so be it, but I got no respect for you

Having a personal experience with one particular person or even several of one race/origin, only means your claim holds true for the experiences you've had. Unless you've had a bad experiences with every single member of a race/origin, you cannot state that it is fact. Think about it.

You have common sense. Use it and you can have an intelligent conversation.

130kph isn't fast for ontario, that's the norm. getting caught going 150kph or over gets your car towed and driver get suspended.

i drove 160-170kph going down I77 to Florida when I had my G2 back in the 90s... my dad in the front passenger seat and family in the back. I got pulled over in Virginia but the cop just gave me a warning. I think I ended up getting back to 140kph, my dad said it was ok lol. It's a long drive..and its boring in some areas.

if we have to fight out which region has the worse drivers, it's got to be Markham/Scarborough/Richmond Hill. Mississauga has some dumb drivers this year, starts raining like it has in the last week and people are going 10-40 km/h slower than the limit. Drives me crazy

It's true some people think they are invincible with their A4 and imprezas. But driving 120 on the highway with 6'' of snow is risky, AWD/4x4 or not.

i think it was just a regular domestic car... might have been a GM. he just whipped right pass me in like 10cm of snow! i swear i almost pissed myself. the snow was light too, so after he passed me... all the snow went up in the air and reduce my vision of the road - this was after i crossed ottawa.
i remember having to pull over to allow locals to pass by me in sherbrooke and gatineau many times.
