Why: Crash my first coupe which I initially had plans to swap the A/T to M/T then later but never had the chance. 5 months later saw an ad on craigslist and thought the price was great, saw it in person the car was in great condition, little bit of rust but what 10 year old doesn't have rust and it was female driven I figure she didn't beat up on it. Last it was birthday gift for myself ;).....but mostly back and forth between school and work

Bought my coupe back in the summer of 09. Went to a dealership to go buy a eg hatchback right after I sold my 92 perlude. Really wanted a civic but once I got there my babygirl was parked next to the eg n fell in love right away. And every since I soo glad I never bought the civic. Haven't had a single tech problem with the car even with racing it n beating the hell outta it.. accord=ftw!

Car Purchased: Purchased my 2002 SE Sedan in SSM last Thursday!

Why: GREAT offer. Purchased from a family friend. It was her mom's car (literally a 94 YO woman)... It has only 18,000 original miles. Couldn't pass it up. It's still a NEW car! :gride:

purchased car: mid of 2005. stock. 98 sedan Ex manual.

why: at the time i had a 92 acura vigor. good car with only 75000miles on the motor. but it was automatic. was dying to learn how to drive a stick. sold the car for 2200$. went to a car lot. was looking at 98 accord and 97 maxima. and boy am i glad i got the cord. Loved working on my car so much, quit my box truck driving job. went to auto tech school. graduated 2nd top of my class. all A's except engines class, lol gave me 89... haha. short time after got a 97 h22a typeS lsd from japan.(sold the sohc) swapped h22 in, had my friend help me with rewiring the whole harness. was happy for a few months. then:- build the head with skunk2 valve train. cometic head gasket. stage3 act clutch.750cc rc injectors. and S300. got a garret t3/t4 3inch turbo back. made 325whp/245wtq @8.5 psi. now blew the piston ring, no money to build the block. got another f23a1 at the junk yard for 300. lol and accord still runs. ( i can truly say my accord changed my life) most likely will never sell the car

Purchased car: Fall semester 2010 (Senior year of high school)

Reason for purchase: Needed a better method of transoportation to school then the 30min. bus ride which was late to school 90% of the time. So my uncle helped me out with finding a good deal on my first car. Bought it with some minor front end damage, but for $2000 and another couple hundred for repairs and paint she was good as new. First day I had the car I actually missed school to take a trip across town to my uncle's shop to pick it up and drive it back to my mom's house to wash it up and do some maintanance. :gride:

Reason: I was looking for a first car. My family has had Hondas for the past ten years ('00 Odyssey, '03 Accord, '09 Odyssey), and they've all been excellent, so I was hoping for a good price on an Accord or maybe a Civic (a nice Camry would have been okay, too). My parents bought the last two cars new at a dealer nearby, so my dad called them and asked what they could do for me. A few days later, I drove home a white 2000 sedan EX with leather and all. It was amazingly clean all around, and the CARFAX even shows regular maintenance at the same dealer for its entire life. The only thing I could really complain about is the scrape on the front bumper (plus some damage on the bottom of the bumper--probably from a parking block) and the numerous marks on the back bumper that look like imprints from the screws on somebody else's front license plate. I had to have a bearing replaced and the timing belt changed before I picked it up, but I've had zero problems since. I just hit 140,000 miles today. No sign of transmission issues at this point, so I'm hoping I won't have to deal with that for a long time.

To be honest, I wasn't all that excited about a white car, and although I love Hondas, I also wasn't particularly fond of the sixth gen Accords aesthetically. I've really come to like the looks of it, though. I replaced the ugly, beat-up gold emblems with silver ones, but otherwise I've started to really like it.
