never been pulled. mine are solid black, not just tinted. mine cant go any darker. ive had them for about a year and no issues. just make sure the inside light can still be seen through them. you can get them solid black and have plenty of light come through but dont keep adding paint once your at that point. theres a point where they cant get darker but you can keep adding paint and thatll take the light away. so once they get to the solid black point stop spraying and make sure the lights coming through.

mine look solid in some light but when the sun hits em directly they just look really tinted, i think once the weather gets a little warner i might go darker. thanks man.

you could use goof off and remove the tint from the center section of your tails and do a lighter black tint over the entire 3 sections, i think that would look pretty clean.... or just do red tint over it and a clear coat over that

ironically just the other day i ran into a problem with my black tail lights. they wouldnt pass my inspection because they said they were too dark. its not that big of a deal so cause i was at a dealership and you know theyre gonna be dicks about it. my familys shop passed it though. my moms mechanic said he woulda passed it too.

Its actually not tint on the center light, Its some kinda wierd material, Its not vinyl and it feels almost metal like idk, its been painted to match the color of the car, my car has this like metallic blue specs in the paint, Idk but i know goof off wont take it off and im kinda scared to see if i can peel it off because i have no idea whats under it
