LOL that restaurant gave me a spoon to eat chicken carbonara with WTF

given that they expected 60 PEOPLE to show, the service was atrocious

my food was delicious though

only 2 waitresses, and 40 ppl ended up showing up, not 65 as originally planned

Overall the restaurant was a good choice imo. I enjoyed what i had and there were a ton of choices on the menu, something for everyone.
it was VERY apparent that they were PISSED they had to deal with that many ppl and i know they were aware we were coming.
id think that the waitresses would be happy that many ppl came in since they basically work for tips. A little bit of kindness goes a LONG way and nobody at my table really felt any of that.
Maybe the waitress didnt care if she made tips or not because i know andy and i didnt leave much of one because of her piss poor attitude. I really wanted to tell her to get herself together.

my opinion
restaurant = excellent
service = HORRIBLE

I totally would have flipped tables and slapped the waitress with a wad of money and said "You want some of this??! tough luck *****!"

and Millz, your accord looks great!
I was trying to figure out who you were saturday night when everyone first got back to the hotel, i try to match ppl with their cars to figure out who everyone is lol. I asked Kevin if you had a CL too and he was like ummmmmm no. Then i was confused so im now assuming that the pic in your sig was a shot you took with someone else.

I totally fail at figuring out who people are lol, i think i figured everyone out by the end of the night tho :)

Thanks!

Lol you know what I have to change that freaking sig! My car's not even in the fore-ground as Derek pointed out to me a while back... So that could lead ppl to believe that it might be my car.

For future reference, if anyone needs to find Millz, just look up!

Derek, I'll excuse it, THIS TIME :hihi:... Since the whole day was hectic for you and you had a lot of running around to do ;)

But yes, thank to ken's reworking of my retro and Tam and G's help on Thursday, I was able to have it mounted for CanAm.

Well, I'm kinda late to this thread....

Justin I hope you already know this, but I'll say it again. I felt so horribly bad over what happened. When you look at how many ways it all could have been totally avoided. And I can tell you the mood at the Inn on Friday night was disbelief. Everyone was feeling for you dude, i cannot tell you enough that you meant a lot to everyone that came up from the US side, and all of your hard work on the forums and behind the scenes organizing everything and getting the sponsorships/donations set up..... everyone that attended needs to be REAL thankful for everything you did.... and didn't even get to enjoy it.

I'm really glad you were able to not kill someone at the border..... that would've been a sticky situation for sure. lol. and i'm also glad you were smart enough to catch some sleep along the way, and made it home safely.

Now we gotta find away for next year to be SO FULL OF WIN that it can hopefully make up for some of the sh*ttyness that went down at the border.
