Re: Sneak Preview Quad Retros - 6/4/2012

I like the contrast look.

Since I am not a retro expert, I assume the TSX is the low beam?

I want to keep my S2K projectors, and I guess I will have to go with Morimotos as well(although my preference would be to use TSX projectors).

Yup, TSX is the lowbeam and I'm having the morimotos as high beam.

From experience, I'd suggest to go with the morimotos, even with these, I had to sand down a sh.it ton just to make it fit. I don't even think the TSX projector can fit in there. Unless, is the S2K projector smaller or same size as the TSX? If so, put the S2K projector as high beam and TSX as low beam?? =\

LOL no  I'm having these done soon!
Had I not done the swap, this would've been done. lol

You didn't mess anything, it's not complete yet, bahaha!

Working on them again next week, I, too, am anticipating the finished product!

Excited for install day!!! =D

The S2K's are a bit smaller than the TSX projectors.

It's a good thing I have another set of OEM headlights, because the current retro, the headlights are in rough shape, IMO.

I like the cut off of the S2K better, so I would much rather have those as my low beams, but it may not be possible, so, we'll see. I may just suck it up and go with the Morimoto's.

Later in the year, not really concerned if it gets done this year, but "my friend and I" :lawl: have discussed this, and he said he would be willing to help me out.

Yes, same friend as yours.

This is awesome. I like the uniqueness of this project. I wish I was skilled enough it retrofit my headlights!
