V6 Brakes swap: Caster out of spec. Isolated case?

Brought it back from Big O after doing an alignment with two major setbacks: 1. Front Left wheel gets about 1 degree negative camber more (I adjusted them to -1.6 with Ingalls adjustible arms) 2. Caster is way off: Front Left 1 degree positive, Front Right -.5 degree. Specified range for our...

Front License Plate on WW lip

That is nice! I wanted one when I was a little kid and didn't know it existed, kinda like that Knight Rider moving red light aka "seeing laser" lol Now I'm not sure I care too much about having it, you do have to have a front license plate on for the most part anyway, and I'm not into bank...

V6 spindle swap: Driveaxle won't go back in!

I put a whole bag of grease back in there. The clips are another thing I hate, wtf happened to the old design with a screw, that one was quite easily done. Dirtier than a TJ hooker? :D

V6 spindle swap: Driveaxle won't go back in!

Tried the bruteforce method for about an hour with no success. I ended up taking the driveaxle boot out and inspecting the problem. The "tulip" as Drift called it on the Accord looks kinda like this: but... it also has square metal blocks that freely spin with the round ones. The round ones...

    I-4 Resonator swap.

Most power can be gained by doing a straight pipe where the resonator is on the I-4. I lost 10whp by going from straight pipe there to a chambered 3 inch magnaflow resonator. Leason learned, chambered rasonators in the bend are power killers they also quiet things down several time better than...

V6 spindle swap: Driveaxle won't go back in!

What? No, I'm just swapping the 4 cyl spindle/hub/brakes out to get the V6 ones in. I'm still using my 4 cyl axles. I got it swapped at 3 corners so far, but the passenger side is a no go, the axle popped out a few inches and won't go back in.

V6 spindle swap: Driveaxle won't go back in!

I'm stranded at my parent's house in Desert Hot Springs, it's hot, it's far and it's nasty down here lol

V6 spindle swap: Driveaxle won't go back in!

I'm freakin' out a bit I got the spindles swapped to the V6 5 lug ones in the last two days but I can't get the fourth one back in. When I pulled out the 4 cylinder spindle out the driveaxle that goes in the middle came out a bit with it. Needless to say I've been rotating and pushing it in...

I run the race setup and it's still very streetable. I think the progressive nature of the spring combined with some good valving on those Bilstein makes it smooth around town yet very crisp in turns.

Welcome, I'm new myself :) I got the H&R Bilstein combo and I think it's the best available for our cars. The H&Rs are progressive and staggered so the rear isn't lower than the front. If you plan to get some sort of subwoofer setup in the back it's that much better. I teach at UCI and...

Well I'm with you on non turbo for now, but my reason is because the H swap got me broke really fast ha ha. As for purity you know... there's that turbo charged CRV at the dealer right now...

A Honda motor is a good air pump regardless of N/A or turbo designation. I've seen people make lots of power with Skunk 2 pro 1 on boosted applications, significantly higher than non Honda motors/factory boosted ones etc. Expensive...definitely. If you build all motor make sure you keep the...

Oh wow, I always wondered how they would look in black chrome but I'm too much of a pansy to try it out, chrome always scared me. But yeah looks like a job well done, what paint did you use? I'm getting new wheels in a couple of days, they are ordered already. The 925 model remains one of the...

Drift you need to boost that H to kick some serious ***. I'm simply amazed at what these Accords can do with a bit of power, but in most scenarios we simply don't have enough pull.

GMR = Glendora Mountain Road as far as I know. I've been a member of Honduh, and since it went down many years ago I've just been strolling around. Then I got a screename here about a year ago but I could never activate it for some reason :( The H does put down quite a bit, I was impressed...

    Small Canyon meet(no 56k)

Do you have any turns in particular around your hometown that you speed and record what you can do? I know I do and I recorded before and after I got my suspension setup and I was a bit sad to know that there was only a little bit to gain. Imo suspension helps a lot in S shaped turns where you...

I'm doing a V6 brake conversion this weekend, complete with Hawk HPS pads all around and new wheels, new tie rods, and upper control arms. I should be good to go for GMR in max 10 days. Let's hope these brakes don't go up in smoke like the last ones:

It's what it's about! Can I say...I'm a sucker for curves!? I'm almost done lightening the car completely and maximizing the suspension setup. From here on it's going to be expensive: fender flares and sticky compound.

Sweet! I've been to one last year and drove Darksideaccord's ? frank motor, that was before I had the H22 in and craved power. Nothing changed ha ha

Yep! There is a 3 person crew, we go once a month or so. My car has been in the shop a lot lately so I haven't been there in over a month now. First time I took my car there, even after crashing it I knew that's what I was going to build the car for. Short technical courses rule, and since it's...

Thanks! That's my last dyno at Church Automotive, not my best run, got 212.5whp before I crashed the car at Glendora and since have changed the exhaust to something more restrictive:sad:

Been lurking around for years, even before I got my Accord. It's been a long ride, it's still my first and only car so far. I'm choosing to continuously upgrade the Accord instead of getting another platform. I'm going to keep it as long as the chassis remains stiff. Anyway, I'm going to be...
