Yeah, i cut slits right into the lip also. But for some reason the lip was too short and i ended up ripping the side of the lip cus me and my dad had to litterally stretch the lip to fit it on.

so all we have to do is cut slits on the lip and it will fit?

if i swap 98-00 sedan bumper and put it on 01-02 sedan, will the bumper fit right in?

thanks much

There's a piece that the top of the bumper attaches to that is different from 98-00 and 01-02. It's piece number 7. The 01-02 is flatter, and the 98-00 dips down.

I rear ended a Tahoe last January, and had to replace the front bumper. They only had the 01-02 bumper in stock, and instead of waiting, I just got the 01-02.

very good words of advise too. ebay sucks. theyd be lucky if that **** even fit the cars its advertised for, haha. modding via ebay ftllllllll

people act like ebay is the worst thing evr ... I build my car ordering parts from ebay !! I have not had one problem with anything I got. dc sports headers...evo2 catback (genuine Greddy) ...fujita cai...tokico suspension(springs and shocks )...18x7.5 ADR wheels w/ tires....type R front lip...the list goes on and on!! The key to a good ebay experience is taking your time to search and not getting the first thing you see... I stand by ebay...just my two cents
