did u resolve the orange peel issue yet?

the orange peel is resolved when its buffed..I will get my materials this week at work and sand/buff next weekend.
The 1500grit paper will slick it out and buffing will make it pop again make it look deep and wet.

i belive the bumpers did..when i wont up the next morning after doing them they where very dull and had no shine what so ever..but i sanded them and re-cleared them..so itl be easy to sand and buff.
but heres a rough look how the car sits..gonna wait to buff until i put the lips on..very dirty,and un buffed..enjoy;

The stance is already looking good, and are you going with a full Xenon kit?

thanks guys..one thing im really proud of is my xenon side skirts..shortening them 3" and molding them over OEM.. No Seams and factory fitment=Priceless with aftermarket goodies

(those are rain drops,left outside last night,still needs buffed aswell)

give you props. how bad do u think i can mess up things if i try to do it on my car.
i really want to sand down everything to bare medal to be a true paint job
they say its to much work though

well in my opinion..I went to school for this..Iv been working at a body shop for over 4years. Im a body tech.fixing cars is what i get paid to do everyday,Painting i just did what iv seen and asked about.this is my 2nd time ever using a spray gun and doing this.

but you dont need to go down to bare metal to repaint the car? i didnt,Only reason i went down to bare metal on my drivers quarter panel was to get my old fiberglass/bondo from when my body kit days i had my bumper molded to the car.
just need to sand the damaged areas and repair them and prime them.dont go to bare metal because yes there will be tons of work due to taking off all the e-coat factory protection they have on the metal before the color from rust and all that..PM me if you want to talk further,Glad to help and share all iv learned and know.
