Its definetly possible but the question is whether it is worth it. Pocketrockets Racing used to make 2.7 and 2.6 liter H22s. Really nasty all motor madness. But they were pricy as hell. bigger displacement = mainly more torque ... for the most part at least ... and can sacrifice rpm ... example camaro ... 5.7L ... the thing is a monster but has about a 5.5k redline
