Here you go, SykVSyx, more pix bof the damper. I might take it off though.
I don't know about other brands of engine damper, but this NRG engine
damper keeps getting itself loose. Not right away, after about a week of
driving the car. I've tried different size nuts and bolts, made the hole bigger
on the power steering bracket, tried lock nuts, lock washers, no use. Must
be the design of it...

The brackets on these NRG dampers are wek-sos. Mine snapped the first week I had it, and it was also loose. I had to fabricate my own bracket which attaches to holes on the strut tower. One hole I reused, another I made myself and tightened it with bolts. Let me know if you want specific pics. Mine is on a I4, but the principle is definitely the same.

Appreciate the pics. I know there are a few other member's on here that have/once had the damper as well, but I don't recall hearing about those problems with it.

I have also seen it placed on the underside of the engine as well, which may or may not make a difference. I believe those pics are on V6P.

Hi I'm also fairly new to this forum! Just wondering what exactly these engine dampeners do? Could someone fill me in? Btw, the car looks great! I like shift knob and the lip:)

supposedly, it minimizes engine movement while changing gears especially
during hard acceleration. less engine movement = more torque, so they say.
do not expect a lot of hp gain from this mod. but talking from my experience,
when i first put it on, my car wasn't lowered yet, you really feel the difference.
wheel hop was reduced. you're not bouncing back and forth when you accelerate. i'm not giving up on it yet. yeah red, show me some pix of yours
when you get the chance...

btw jones... the auto shift knob was very easy to do. i got lucky with it. got it cheap on ebay. it came with a lot of small parts that you don't need. all you need is the spring...
