So of course I did my reading AND searching AND even got Roy's opinion before posting this.
Bottom line, I know its the "last" thing you do and there are still minimal to no performance gains, BUT I was interested in the prospect of better gas mileage.
I could pick one up for about the price of a full tank of gas and so thought if it helps me get more then 250 miles per tank... (seeing that some of you get close to 400 per tank!) it would be worth a shot.
My questions are, how dangerous is the unit in terms of longevity of the car? i.e. running lean to save gas
OBDII would just relearn the old settings but how is that possible if the piggyback system is constantly sending mixed signals to the ECU?
Oh yeah, and of course - How hard of an installation? How much would I have to typically pay if its over my head?
Thanks guys
