ok i just got home after picking up pair of jack stands. i will jack my car up, take my wheel off, take pix, and ill up load them....cant afford a day without my car....it is my only car and daily driver.....plus i work 50mi away from home....
taken from the front of the passenger side front wheel behind the bumper
red thing is my caliper.
close up picture.
i found the problem. that black rubber boot(is that called cv boot?) thing was torn and i think a grease from inside was leaking out....i think it squeezes out whenever i steer. i figured it isnt major suspension component, i could drive everyday(i put 100mi on my car everyday, including saturday.)
so i drove my car to work today...hehe
any idea how easy it is to fix on my own at home with ranchetset(which i need to pick one up), floor jack + jack stand? how long it would take if i have all necessary parts already? or estimated cost/time if i were to take it to shop?
well...not i have a bigger problem...my car wont even start...
im just way too sad to start a thread....
i dont even know if im gonn be able to make to photoshoot......
sigh.....i probably wont even come to the board for awhile....just to forget about my car.......
