Didn't pass smog because of 2 things : MIL is not functioning & P1491
Not knowing much about cars and after spending $1731:bs2: this sat at a Honda dealership and now broke...I don't know what to do.
What can be done about the MIL issue? Is there a way to change the bulb? Does the MIL have its own fuse?

P1491- Just lost:confused:...My over the phone est. is starting at $300.
I just don't know what to do anymore but I know I need my car registered :(
Please help any suggestions, comments and opinions are very much appreciated.

Oh yeah I have a 2000 Honda Accord lx 2.3L sedan, in case anyone need that info

There is a DIY on how to clean the EGR valve in the DIY section. As for the CEL not working; buy a Haynes manual there are directions on how to remove the gauge cluster to access the bulbs behind it. GL!

Not that this will solve anything, but I just passed emissions yesterday =]

I agree with #2 though. Just remove your cluster and check your bulb. There is a bunch of usefull info in this site's DIY section.

You already made a thread for your issue...

yes I did, but wasn't sure I posted it in the right place..or if it would get answer because I didn't follow the rules for urgency!!
Sorry:eek:

Nothing personal, but you can always pm a Mod/Admin and ask them to move your thread for you.

It's ok, you are still new, there is much to be learned.
