what's your budget first... if you dont' want to upgrade camera every year, get a DSLR, if you do. Get a small compact one :).

I can't belive my DSLR lasts me 2 years already that was fast.

Before i have cameras like the G9... i upgrade to 2 different cameras before i settle with a DSLR>

ehh just get the Nikon D700 :D shoots up to 25K ISO hahaha

i think it is only 3 grand for the body also

d700...pssh...nikon makes full frame finally....while canon has had full frame digital for long time....and they just upgraded from 16mp to 21mp....while nikon can only shoot what...12mp....:naughty:....hello nikon...welcome to 2003:darryl:

UPDATE: I picked up a G9 today.

Best picture quality, features, weight & size for the money IMO.

Very nice.

Still charging... sample photos later.

It's about the photographer not the camera.. the Canon S70 is pretty good..

My S70 is now FS if anyone is interested before I post an ad. $200, in great condition. Comes w/ case, charger & 1 GB Ultra CF Card.
