Hey, so I'm planning on dropping my Accord, and I need to do some asking around. First off, what's a good amount to drop a 4 door LX? Like, at what point does it look sexy and not ricy? That's what I wanted to know first, and secondly, does K-Sports make a decent damper? Because I'm either going to be using Eibach or K-Sports. K-Sports is a bit cheaper though if I'm not mistaken, so that's why I wanted to know if they were quality or not.

welcome
and to answer your first question anything less then a 2 in drop is ricey
second u should def go with coil overs because aftermarket shocks +drop springs combo will cost around the same as buying coilovers

Alright, sweet. That's what I had heard from my friend. And would 1.5" look clean?

well i mean i personally dont see any drop as ricey, and 1.5 will be fine, but youll want to go lower in the near future. it happens to everyone

1.5" is a lot for car makes/models but for our Accords, that's baby ishhh.

And how does dropping a car make it "ricey" in any way?

Haha, when I say "ricy", I'm reffering to the 4", exhaust system scrapin road, drops that I tend to see on EX Civics around here. :p Haha
And, yeah, I'm thinking 2.5-2" . :)

okay first off. no one can tell you what you think looks good. and if you are trying to please someone else then you are in the wrong forum. just do what "you" think looks good...look at all the cars on here and decide for yourself. believe me. with a little searching you will find what you are looking for and then you will have "what do i do" quesitons that people can answer instead of "what do you think" questions only you can answer.

I was asking for opinions more so to find out what was a reasonable level to drop. My friend has an Eclipse and dropped it too low and now faces some problems and etc.
I was more interested in finding out a safe but sexy level to drop based upon the experience of others. I personally like 2.5"... Just wanted some info on Coilovers and stuff. But thanks for the advice :)

Go low or go home...theres nothing ricey about scraping unless the car looks like complete sh!T...so if you lower ur car about a inch and act like ur low and blah blah blah thats ricey...and you wont even reali notice a 2" drop on our cars. so my suggestion is get coilovers.
