Re: Greekpizza's F23a1 Turbo build (update 7-30-12)

^this. **** nova traffic. if I could change one thing about my build it would be the part where I ripped the ac **** out and threw it on the ground. I'll take a 20hp loss when I'm in the single file parking lot I sit in for an hour everyday...and thats just the morning. after work commute is even better

i am laughing reading these post. i sit in traffic all day, i live in northern va. highways are a wreck, and you guys are saying pointless facts. i know ac doesnt add power to my car, You guys should give me some credit. I am aware it takes power from the car. But did you ever think maybe i took this into account and would like to sit in comfort when im in dead stop traffic 3 days out of the week. i dont know if you know this but the car comes stock with ac. haha it ran fine then so not sure why adding more power would make it worse. :fail:

It'll make a difference. Idle gets tricky with AC. I only use it if I'm cruising on the highway.
You're not really adding more power at Idle anyway. so sitting in traffic with the AC on is gonna drain your gas with whatever tune you get because your tuner is probably going to have to tune you rather rich so you don't die in traffic when you pull out of gear to sit in neutral.
I don't believe anyone was trying to take credit from you, just informing you. and they're right.

with a proper tune running ac won't be an issue. I've been in plenty of turbo'd hondas that still have ac.

did they have a roughish idle or anything?
My tune is kinda poopy for AC i guess.

It's basically all the tuning in the A/C idle compensation tables.

The delay for the compensation and how much of an idle compensation actually. You can make it run perfect as long as you mess with that. I'm working on getting my A/C working, so I haven't had a need to mess with this yet, but will soon.

ahhh... I don't think Crome has AC idle compensation tables. At least not that I've found

Re: Greekpizza's F23a1 Turbo build HELP (update 8-28-12)

check to make sure your MAP and TPS arn't mixed up. I did that on mine and it was goofed up until i figured it out.
All i can think of to check for ECU and Conversion harness is to find another one and plug it in and see if that works.
Also, maybe check your fuel pump relay and fuse?
