Re: Going for a re-tune....

Tried to install it today, but need adapter fittings for the Bosch 044 pump for both the inlet to fuel line and a new banjo fitting with cap..... Having trouble finding them.

Anybody know specifics on sizes or kits available for the Bosch in-line fuel pump?

Remind me again, you're using two pumps to supply enough flow for E85? What injectors are you running?

Precision 1000cc injectors. Stock pump in the tank, soon to be Bosch 044 in line also.

I checked NAPA, Orielly, and Home Depot (plumbing section) and still nothing....

But ACE hardware probably will not have the banjo fitting that i need.... that's why i'm thinking a fittings kit would be the easiest but wanted to see what others know about the topic

Re: Going for a re-tune....

I was actually able to find something last night that came in a kit with all the fittings from a BMW performance parts store that came with the banjo fitting, cap, copper washers, and the adapter fitting for the end of the Bosch fuel pump and got it on order as of this morning.

Should be in in about 3 days, and i'll get it running. It's just never ending with this small shi*....

Old Walbro 255lph vs shiny new Bosch 044. I was pretty amazed at the size difference.
All fittings recieved as of yesterday, put on and tested this morning.

Just got to put some teflon tape on it, seal it up, connect it, and get the timing right and were good to go.

Re: Going for a re-tune....

I had to do some work on my second car (99 a4 which replaced the Jeep I had) tonight. Got it running how I want it almost to the T.

Tomorrow afternoon should be working on the Accord to get it running pretty decent on E85. Then time to set up a tune (hopefully and finally). I have a very strong feeling i'll break 400whp....

I'll probably possibly install it sometime soon, and next weekend i'm gonna have a buddy of mine help me out to get it started and running!
