Is your current A-pillar a dual pod? I could only find the full trim replacement in 3-gauge options, but I only wanted two gauges so I ended up buying a clip-on piece. I haven't sized it to the OEM panel yet, but I'm sure I won't like the fitment when I do get around to mounting it.

My current gauge pod is a dual yeah. I don't feel like changing it because I painted it to match the rest of the interior and don't really want to remove it and re-paint the thing. Hence why I am just mounting it on the steering wheel cover to see how it works there and maybe change it later.... don't really know where I want the final location.

The other thing, like you said, is the fitment of the replacement A pillar with gauge pods. I doubt it will fit like an OEM piece and that I would like how it sits.....

If I don't like it, I can always bondo the holes and re-paint the steering wheel cover and re-locate the gauge. The key thing is just to have it somewhere in direct line of site so I know what (if anything) is wrong/right.....

So was your dual pod a separate piece that you molded into the OEM piece or is the whole thing aftermarket?

You did consider the dual pod that fits in the instrument cluster right? I think you said you didn't have a fourth gauge to use in it? I currently have that installed with a boost/vac and oil pressure gauge and really like it. I'm only adding the AEM W/B and water temp gauge, but I would prefer a one-piece pod/panel piece, just can't find one other than a triple pod.

My dual guage pod is a separate piece that just clipped in on to the existing a-pillar. Haven't molded it in as of yet, wanting to figure out what exactly I want to do with my gauges before I do that.

I have considered the dual gauge pod for the cluster, but don't really have that fourth gauge to fit in there, nor want to infill sand and re-paint the holes on the pillar. Ha.

I guess we'll see how it looks and take it from there.

Trying to do both tomorrow, Can't remember if I already have a bung in it or if I have to weld in the new one. If I have to weld in the new one it will be when the shop is available one night to use....

Me too! They are for switching the 5 bolt downpipe to studs so I don't keep snapping bolts. It'll be so much nicer after their put in....

Well, tried to install everything this afternoon and ran into some minor problems... The jack was being used by a lawnmower without wheels so I couldn't get very far.

That, and I will have to re-tap the holes in the downpipe side of the turbo, due to it being slightly stripped over time.

However, I did realize that there is an existing bung for the A/F gauge in the downpipe that is not utilized and can run the sensor through an existing hole, so that's good news.

Have to wait for my buddy to work late at the shop and then I can get it up on a lift and get the A/F gauge installed, and remove, tap the holes, install the bolts, and re-mount the turbo and should be good to go.

More to come soon (hopefully this coming weekend/week). SO fu***ng close to what has used to seem so far away.
