thanks crawler.. but could you post the link to where you pulled that info? it'd help out..

but i see youre new to the site.. welcome bro.. i can already tell youre gonna be useful.

AF.. thanks for more input.. but i want the stiffest because there are only and extra 10 bucks.. and i dont want the motor tossing back and forth during hard shifting.

about the flywheel.. yeah i kinda was on the fence about buying it.. im just gonna keep saving and get an ACT..

and with the synchros.. do you have to replace them no matter what if you do the gear swap? and sry if its a noob question.. but im a noob when it comes to working on a tranny.

and about the gear swap.. my local performance is quoted me $300 to do the swap if i brought them both trannies.. is the a fair price? or should i look for someone else..

I got that from alldatapro.com it is a paid site for a shop my friend works in, I am not supposed to give it out. His boss is cool with me using it. You could go to ondemand5.com username and password are both autouser, that is at the Honda factory school I attended back in 06-08, another paid site but it is out of a factory program located in a jr. college. way too hard to track.

If your case is open and you know there is mileage or you are not sure about mileage, I would replace the synchs, if not all bearing too. A bearing and synch kit couldn't be more than a couple hundred bucks. I think trans work is intimidating. I made a golden spot in a shop because i will rebuild transissions, especially automatic ones. they book more and are easier. anyway off your topic I know sorry.

be ready to feel the road like your on ebay coil overs with those stiff mounts, I say screw all that stuff, maybe a little stronger but the full stiffy isnt' good in this case. Make sure your chasis doesn't sink or lean and you will be golden.

i'm checking you out, you can check my first post at the end of the H22 sticky for my details.

thanks again bro.. although i wish you lived alot closer so you could do my tranny :) but. i know the tranny has roughly some where under 112k.

and im already expecting the car to shake a little due balance shaft delete, and larger cams.. but i never heard of anything about how it'd make the suspension feel like ****.. or make the whole car bounce.. and by time the swap goes in, ill be on F2 type 2.5s with the ERS springs... and i planned on a little later down the road to swap all other suspension related parts with brand new/performance parts.

@ nikita.. i got a 3 and 4th job now! lol :ownedrun:

Yeah that is all hear say, I should have made that clear. I didn't feel it first hand, and with that it has always stories of an ek, eg, dc, or db, so lighter cars, these ones might not be so bad. and I am sure every brand isn't as stiff of a ride as the others. with only 112k on the trans, and money I would say have your guy look at the synchs and just shoot what you need, really any trans will out do any engine if maintained and accord has been beating 400k since the early 80's. I know prelude stuff but still a honda.

I am a factory tech, so some things I am not sure of. What is the advantage of a balance shaft delete? RPM? fuel?

+8hp on a bone stock h22. even more with mods... due to less rotating mass. the only reason why they are there is to damper out vibrations.. honda felt that anything bigger than 2.0 caused the car to vibrate to much..

and its less weight in the car as a whole..
